Kate Marie Grinold
Public Relations and Marketing Specialist
Kate Marie brings a wealth of unique insight and experience to the Atlas team. In 2009, she finished as a Top Ten finalist at the Miss America Pageant representing our nation’s capital, which exposed her to the ‘other side’ of television, the media, public relations and marketing. Following the pageant, Kate Marie was awarded the judges “Interview Award,” recognizing her exceptional grasp of national media strategy and critical message development.
Prior to joining the Atlas team, she worked for the media strategy and public relations firm PRWRK, LLC in Washington, DC, where she worked directly with clients providing creative and strategic support for everything from large projects like national ad campaigns and event planning support to detail-oriented items like press conference support and message development.
Kate Marie also served as a Business Development and Public Outreach consultant for the 501(c)3 child advocacy and human rights organization Innocents at Risk, where she managed member and donor relations, sponsor recruitment, and media relations.
Kate Marie is a graduate of The George Washington University, with a duel degree in International Development Studies and Latin American Studies. She is a classically-trained ballerina, having studied at the Kirove Academy of Ballet.
